The Grenville-Dundas Veterinary Clinic is dedicated to providing veterinary care to dogs and cats and to a few exotic pets such as ferrets and rabbits.
The practice was first established in the 1950’s. Conveniently located in Kemptville, just 40 minutes south of Ottawa, it was named the Grenville-Dundas Veterinary Clinic in 1985 to reflect the geographic area it serviced. At that time the clinic was primarily a large animal practice and was located on Van Buren Street in downtown Kemptville. The small animal component quickly grew and made it necessary in 1986 for the practice to be moved to its present location on County Road 43 across from the Kemptville mall. The animal hospital was enlarged in 1993 in order to accommodate further growth in services and the increased number of doctors and staff.
As a result of veterinary medicine becoming more specialized, it was considered necessary on December 1, 2009 to split the practice into large and small animal components. The Grenville-Dundas Veterinary Clinic is now exclusively a small animal (pet) practice. Our spacious facility is staffed by 3 doctors and 7 veterinary team members.
We understand the unique relationship you share with your faithful companion.
